Best Sniping Spots on Woods

In the video above I give a quick overview of some of the best and most common sniping spots on Woods in Escape from Tarkov. It’s important to know about these sniping/camping spots as woods is one of the most popular maps for sniping. Maybe you’re just learning the map, trying to complete mosin missions or just want to get better at sniping. Either way I hope this video helps you!

I now stream on Twitch, check me out and give me a follow

My first stream averaged over 4 viewers for 3 hours!

I tried streaming for the first time a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it! I was a bit surprised that I averaged 4 viewers during my first stream. One was probably my mom but it still counts! I thought I would share what I did and what I’m now doing for my future streams!

Things I did before going live the first time:

  • Participated in chat in others streams, joined a few games if they asked. I did this for about a year before going live because I enjoyed it.
  • Made a few guides on YouTube for various games.
  • Learned how to use Streamlabs/Streamelements on a basic level to get some alerts going for new followers and things.
  • I spent a ton of time testing my audio and video. The way I recommend doing this is to run OBS and act like you’re going live. Test your overlays, talk like people are listening, play a game to see how the loudness of your voice changes when you concentrate, etc.
  • Wrote a description and set a very basic schedule on my panels on Twitch. I only picked Sunday at 1 pm for my schedule because I know I can always stream then but if I have time I can always stream other days.
  • Made a Twitter and participated in some discussions in the months leading up to my first stream.
  • I found a unique way to play since my game play isn’t the best, my voice is average and my looks probably won’t attract many viewers. By playing Escape from Tarkov in a way that I have never seen anyone else do: try to play every game with a random squad. I shared the idea on r/EscapefromTarkov and got a few comments saying that I would get killed instantly, turns out that’s not the case (so far).
  • Right before going live I sent a few messages to my friends on Discord and Whatsapp and told them they could check out my stream if they wanted to. I posted a tweet tagging Twitch and the game I was playing.
  • Told my mom I was going to go live.

My stream wasn’t perfect but it was good enough. I learned a lot and there were issues I could fix before my next stream. I was happy and I can’t wait to stream again!

Here are some of the things I have done or will do for my next stream.

  • There were some funny moments, I went back through my VOD and clipped these moments myself. I then shared one of these on Twitter.
  • The default tags was used for my first stream, next time I plan to throw a few more in there. I checked the top streamers for my game and saw one of them using the “Educational” tag. I explain a lot during my stream so the tag fits and there is only 3 other streamers competing for that tag. So tag your stream to make it show up when people filter just make sure the tags are relevant.
  • Share what I learned. I’m making this post to share what I learned and not only will it hopefully help others but it might also result in a view or two. Make sure to add your flair before posting šŸ˜‰
  • I’ll keep telling my friends and my mom when I go live!

  • I made a post on Reddit looking for a group and within an hour I was doing squads with 4 other new players and hit 9 viewers. You can do this with any game, always think of different ways that you can reach more potential viewers.

I hope that this writeup might help others who are struggling with getting viewers or who are considering launching their own first stream. Got any more tips or ideas? Let me know!

Best sniping spots on Interchange

In the above video I show you where to find the best sniping spots on Interchange. Most of these spots are going to be outside the actual mall since it’s hard to get good range inside the mall. Here is a summary of the video and some of the best sniping spots for Escape From Tarkov Patch 12.2.

Pokeone – Kanto – Pallet Town

I started playing PokeOne recently, a really fun community run Pokemon MMO. This guide covers the beginning of Kanto in Pallet Town. We will get our first Pokemon from Professor Oak and then defeat Gary before heading to Route 1.

You will start in your upstairs bedroom. Head downstairs to talk to mom and she will give you a quest to go speak to professor Oak.

Pokeone - Kanto - Pallet Town - Professor Oak Building

You will find professor Oak in the building which is down and to the right from the building you start in.

Pick your first Pokemon

Pokeone - Kanto - Pallet Town - Picking your first Pokemon

Go inside and talk to professor Oak who is standing in the middle. Here you can decide which Pokemon will be your first. Personally I prefer Bulbasaur because he is very effective against the first two gyms (rock and water). This time I will go with the water type, Squirtle. Charamander is a fire type and Bulbasaur is a grass type.

How to defeat Gary in Pallet Town

Now you will want to leave Pallet Town by heading north. However, your rival Gary will be waiting for you and you will need to beat him to keep going.

Pokeone - Kanto - Pallet Town - Gary

Gary will always have the best Pokemon to fight against the Pokemon you picked. So if you picked Squirtle he will pick Bulbasaur, if you picked Charamander he will pick Squirtle and so on. In order to beat him in this first battle my recommendation is that you keep attacking with your most damaging move.

Pokeone - Kanto - Pallet Town - Beating Gary

For me the most damaging move is Tackle and most likely it will be the same for all the starter Pokemon. Keep hitting Tackle over and over again and you should survive and win. If you do end up dying I would recommend trying this strategy again, sometimes Gary gets lucky. For future encounters it can be good to try to catch a Pokemon which will be a good counter to Gary’s Pokemon. You will meet Gary several times throughout the story.

Once you have defeated Gary you can go back to mom in the building you started in. Talk to mom and she will heal your Pokemon back up to full health.

Escape from Tarkov – Review – Patch 0.9 Beta

Escape from Tarkov is still in beta but it has already turned into my favorite game after just a few weeks of playing. I never thought I would like a hardcore first person shooter game but I have really come to like it. My aim is generally horrible but I figured I could work on improving it as I enjoy the game. See the video here below.

As I mention in the video. Escape from Tarkov includes a lot of running, shooting and looting. You get thrown onto a map at a random location and your goal is to escape to an exit. The exit is usually found on the opposite side of the map. You generally want to either achieve a mission or just kill as many scavs (npc or player) and pmcs (players) and get out alive. Or both, it’s up to you. You can go in with just a hatchet or loaded with military armor and fully automatic AKs with tracer rounds. The only catch is that if you die you will risk not getting your gear back, someone else can pick it up and use it.

A big focus is on the guns, the realism and the amount of customization you can do. There are lots and lots of parts which can be used to change the look and feel of every weapon. Anything from simple handguns to large rifles can have multiple scopes, flashlights, silencers and more.

The game gets even better with a squad. Find a few friends to run with but just make sure you don’t kill them as there are no markers in the game to tell each other apart.

How to get to Blackfathom Deeps (BFD)

In this video I show you how to get to Blackfathom Deeps Ashenvale from Orgrimmar (Horde). I also made a video of a quick run through of the dungeon which you can find here:…

To get there simply go to Orgrimmar and take the flightpath to theĀ Zoram’gar OutpostĀ and then fly north. Once you get to the cave entrance you will need to navigate to through the cave system to find the entrance.
